Welcome!

My name is Erica Charpentier and I'm an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) providing breastfeeding support in Westchester County, NY, Putnam County, NY, and Fairfield County, CT.

What I do as a lactation consultant goes beyond the nuts and bolts of breastfeeding - I work to build your confidence as a breastfeeding mother. An initial consult is usually 1.5 to 2 hours long, so there's plenty of time to discuss anything and everything you have on your mind. Our action plans are developed with you to insure that they fit your family's needs.

My weekly breastfeeding support group lets you meet other mothers facing similar questions and challenges, with the guidance of an IBCLC (me) who can provide evidence-based answers to your questions. We discuss a wide range of topics, including breastfeeding at different developmental stages, returning to work, storing breastmilk, sleep (or lack thereof), allergies, routines, introducing solids, weaning, and more.
